Azerbaijani doctor who saved Karabakh Armenians: We safely delivered the patients to Khankandi

Azerbaijani doctors have provided first aid to the Karabakh Armenians, whose health deteriorated on the Khankandi-Lachin road, Vilad Aliyev, a doctor at the Shusha Modular Hospital, told Report.

“We were informed about the deterioration in the health of citizens passing through the territory under the temporary control of Russian peacekeepers. We immediately arrived at the scene in two ambulances. The condition of three out of four people was relatively serious,” he said.

He noted that under the supervision of Azerbaijani doctors, the Karabakh Armenians were safely taken to a hospital in Khankandi: “We saved the lives of Armenian patients. Having transferred them to the hospital, we returned to Shusha.”
