Azerbaijan about to complete construction of new alternative road to Lachin corridor

Following the agreement reached with the Ministry of Defense of Russia in accordance with the provisions of the Tripartite Declaration, the route of the new alternative road to the Lachin Corridor has been determined and the construction of this road by Azerbaijan is about to be completed, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said during a phone conversation with French President, Emmanuel Macron, Report informs.

According to him, following the tripartite statement dated November 10, 2020, it is planned to deploy the Russian peacekeeping forces to that road as soon as these works are completed.
