Aydin Karimov: Work underway to realize tourism potential of liberated Azerbaijani territories

Azerbaijan is implementing the concept of a “green zone” in Karabakh, restoring these territories, high technologies are used in construction, Azerbaijani Presidential Special Representative in the Shusha district Aydin Karimov said during the annual high-level strategic consultations between the Azerbaijani government and the UN in Aghdam, Report informs.

The special representative also stressed the importance of unlocking the tourism potential of these territories, and work is underway in this direction.

He added that the work is also underway to create infrastructure for the return of internally displaced persons to Shusha: “We are working on the development of employment and human capital. The necessary infrastructure is being created in the city. We want to create a reliable basis for a sustainable life of internally displaced persons who will soon return there.”
