Armenia expects an agreement on a new meeting with Azerbaijan to continue discussing a peace treaty, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan said at a briefing, Report informs.
Kostanyan noted that there are no specific agreements on the meeting yet.
“At the moment, there is no specific agreement on a meeting. The meeting at the level of leaders did not take place, but we continue to work. The mediators continue to work to organize a new meeting,” Kostanyan added.
The Foreign Ministry representative also noted that “it is fundamentally important for Yerevan to clarify and secure in writing the border with Azerbaijan, as well as to fix the principles of unblocking communications.”
