Armenia escalates situation on frontline: Defence Ministry Azerbaijani units suppressed the enemy with retaliation fire and gained full control over the operational situation.

Armenia escalates situation on frontline: Defence Ministry

Military units of the armed forces of Armenia violated ceasefire 78 times throughout the day in various direction of the front, using large-caliber machine guns and sniper rifles to escalate situation, Report says, citing Defense Ministry.
Armenian armed forces, located in Aygepar village of Berd region and on nameless hills in Chambarak region subjected to fire the positions of the Azerbaijan Army located in Alibeyli village of Tovuz region and on unknown hills in Gadabay region.
The hostile party also shot at the Azerbaijani army positions from their posts near the occupied Novruzlu, Yusifjanly, Marzili villages of Aghdam region, Kuropatkino village of Khojavend region, Ashaghy Veysalli, Garvand, Garakhanbayli, Ashaghy Seyidahmadli, Gorgan, Kurdlar, Horadiz villages of Fuzuli region, Nuzgar and Mehdili villages of Jabrayil region, as well as from the positions located on unknown hills in Terter, Aghdam and Khojavend regions.

The Azerbaijani units suppressed the enemy with retaliation fire and gained full control over the operational situation.

Armenian has occupied 20 percent of Azerbaijan, including the Nagorno-Karabakh region and seven surrounding districts. Despite the 1994 ceasefire agreement, it fails to comply with the truce and implement four UN Security Council resolutions on the withdrawal of its armed forces from Nagorno Karabakh and the surrounding districts.
