Arab journalist: Destruction of mosques by Armenians - provocation against entire Muslim world

The destruction of mosques by Armenians in Karabakh is a provocation not only towards Azerbaijanis, but also towards the entire Muslim world, an employee of the Kuwaiti newspaper An-nahr Samira Frimeche told Report.

According to her, she feels sad when she sees the destruction in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan.

"During my work in Kuwait, I have heard a lot about what is happening in Karabakh. But you understand that hearing and seeing with your own eyes are different things," she said.

The journalist stressed that this is her first trip to Karabakh, but not her first one to Azerbaijan.

"Thank God that Azerbaijan has returned its lands, we are very happy for the Azerbaijani people," she said, adding that she was very happy to see the process of restoring the liberated territories.

"I am happy to see this airport [in Fuzuli], which was built in just 8 months. It's really a miracle. What the Azerbaijani government is doing to restore these territories is very impressive," Frimeche said.

A group of foreign journalists covering the Summit-level Meeting of Non-Aligned Movement Contact Group in response to COVID-19 visited the Fuzuli district today.
