"We are not waging war against the Armenian people. Our only goal is to establish long-term peace and stability in the region by restoring the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan."
Prime Minister Ali Asadov said at a meeting of the CIS Heads of Government Council held through videoconferencing today, Report informs.
He recalled that after the restoration of the country's territorial integrity, the government has repeatedly stated at various levels that it is crucial for the Azerbaijani and Armenian communities to live together peacefully in Nagorno-Karabakh.
"Azerbaijan has never claimed foreign lands, but is determined to restore its territorial integrity," he said.
