Amidst the worldwide coronavirus outbreak, a female infant child was named 'Corona' by her parents in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur town, Report informs, citing Deccan Herald.
Justifying the name, baby's uncle Nitesh Tripathi said the coronavirus had 'unified' the community and 'inspired' people to wage a collective fight against it.
"This baby will be a symbol of people's unity in fighting the virus," he remarked.
Corona was born just hours before the 'Janta Curfew' came into force on Sunday.
