Dutch company proposes to rebuild Notre Dame with 3D printing

A firm in the Netherlands that specializes in 3D printing has a plan to rebuild parts of Notre Dame that were consumed by fire on April 15, Report informs citing the French Publication Le Figaro.
Rotterdam-based Concr3de specializes in using 3D printing technology and proposes to recreate the destroyed areas of the over 850-year-old French cathedral, using the building's original materials-- taken from the ashes. One of the stone gargoyles found on Notre-Dame's rooftop has already been re-made as an example.
According to representatives of the Dutch company Concr3De, the Gargoyle statue can be restored in 24 hours with only 2,500 to 5,000 euros in spending, which is cheaper than cutting it out of stone in the workshop.
