Canada launches autonomous cars in 2020

Baku. 23 January. REPORT.AZ/ Autonomous (driverless) cars will be launched in Canada in 2020. Report informs referring to "Anadolu" Agency.
It was noted on the researches made by Van Horn University together with the relevant companies of the country that the driverless cars which are considered to use in 2020-2025, will annually make a benefit to the Canadian economy 65 billion dollars.
Vijay Gill, a director of one of the companies making researches, said that the new cars will reduce a number of traffic accidents, as well as, traffic congestion. However, they can cause the economic and social problems. Because, after the use of new cars, drivers of taxis, courier service, as well as the buses can become unemployed.
