Zarifa Aliyeva ferry vessel carries out 332 trips

Zarifa Aliyeva RoPax type ferry vessel of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping CJSC (ASCO) made 332 trips during the two years of its operation, Report informs, referring to ASCO.

So far, 305 wagons, 11,780 trucks, 1,742 passenger cars, and 11,350 passengers were transported by ferry vessel within these trips.

On April 28, 2022, the ferry vessel, which was built at the Baku Shipyard by order of ASCO, was put into operation in the presence of President Ilham Aliyev.

It is possible to transport 100 passengers, 56 tank wagons or 50 trucks/TIR at the same time with the unique floating vehicle, the design of which is similar to the RoPax-type ferry vessel Azerbaijan.
