Zangazur tanker operated by transportation fleet of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) has undergone overhaul, Report informs, citing the company.

During repair work carried out at Zygh ship repair and construction yard, main and auxiliary engines of the tanker, blade shaft was adjusted, some electrical equipment was replaced with new ones as well as old ones were repaired. Pipe laying work on deck and engine room were also completed.

The vessel is equipped with two sets of modern Inmarsat-C type, one set of DS-85 type speedometer, one set of NAVTEX-700 type weather data receiver, one set of stationary radio station UQD.

Vessels crew living quarters were also renovated.

Tanker's underwater and submersible areas, main deck and top structures, as well as anchor chains were sandblasted and painted by craftsmen.

After repairs, the tanker was commissioned.

Zangazur tanker, with length of 149.9 meters and width of 17.3 meters, has carrying capacity of 13,000 tons.
