Turkish minister: Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway in testing phase

Baku. 19 May. REPORT.AZ/ The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway is currently in a testing phase. 

Report informs citing the Karshaberler, Minister of Economy of Turkey Nihat Zeybekçi said.

"The Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is currently being tested. In case of commissioning in June, trains from China will be able to head for London through the territory of Turkey without stopping.

In this regard, Turkey and China held talks and next year, through Turkey, it is planned to carry out freight transportation in amount of $ 30 bln", he added.
