Turkish Airlines has canceled 407 flights due to snowfall in Istanbul, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.
Heavy snowfall in the major metropolis on March 11 disrupted air, sea and land communications.
Due to poor visibility, the movement of ships through the Bosphorus was suspended.
In addition, classes at schools and universities were also canceled due to bad weather.
According to forecasters, the intensity of snowfall will increase in the evening.
