Three years since commissioning of ferry 'Zarifa Aliyeva'

Three years have passed since the commissioning of the RoPax-type ferry “Zarifa Aliyeva,” Report informs, citing Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO).

The vessel is named after the prominent ophthalmologist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva and was officially commissioned on April 28, 2022, with the participation of President Ilham Aliyev, on the occasion of her birthday.

During this period, the ferry has transported 337 railcars, 17,908 trucks, 2,094 passenger cars, and 16,970 passengers.
