During the first three days of COP29, foreign visitors and local citizens, will need to use buses operating at the Baku airport, Anar Rzayev, Chairman of the Board of Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA) under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, said during a briefing on the presentation of the transport plan to be implemented during COP29 days, according to Report.
Rzayev stated that during the first days of COP29, visitors and citizens arriving at the airport will not be able to enter the city using their own vehicles: "In the first three days, vehicles will be able to enter the airport and drop off citizens at Terminal 2, but it won't be possible to pick up anyone from there. Citizens can travel to their destinations using H1 and H2 buses that will operate in those areas. The H1 route covers the airport to 28 May area, while the H2 route covers the airport to Ahmadli metro station."
