Territory of industrial park “Araz Valley Economic Zone” cleared of mines

The territory of the Araz Valley Economic Zone, located in Azerbaijan’s Jabrayil district and covering 200 hectares, has been completely cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance, Azerbaijan’s Economy Ministry told Report.

The conceptual plan (master plan) of the industrial park has already been prepared, and in the coming days, it is planned to begin work on laying the camp on a 1.5-hectare site of the park. The work is underway to level and compact the territory where the mobilization camp will be created.
