President's special representative: Malibay HPP 'clear example of Azerbaijan’s Green Energy policy'

A zero-emission zone has been declared for the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, and the Malibay small hydroelectric power station, founded today in the Lachin district, is a clear example of Azerbaijan’s Green Energy policy, the special representative of the Azerbaijani President in Lachin, Masim Mammadov said at the groundbreaking ceremony, Report informs.
"The Lachin district has a huge green energy potential. To date, nine small hydroelectric power stations have been launched in the Lachin, with a capacity of about 80 MW. Malibay station is the 10th," he added.
