Kyrgyzstan Foreign Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev met with Azerbaijan's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Kyrgyzstan Hidayat Orujov.
Report informs, citing the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, that the sides discussed the results of Minister Ruslan Kazakbaev's visit to Baku on July 1-3, 2021.
Moreover, the sides discussed Kyrgyzstan's initiatives on establishing strategic partner relations between the two states, creation of the Interstate Council on the level of the heads of states, setting up an interregional platform 'Central Asia-South Caucasus' (5+3) and resumption of the agreements on the Investment Kyrgyzstan-Azerbaijan Fund in the foreseeable future.
The ambassador noted that the Azerbaijani side fully supports all initiatives proposed by Kyrgyzstan. Kazakbaev thanked the Azerbaijani side for the 40,000 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine in humanitarian assistance.
