Serbian urban planning companies may operate in Azerbaijan's liberated territories

Azerbaijan is exploring potential cooperation with Serbian urban planning and architectural companies, representative of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan Ramil Jahangirov said at the 8th session of the Azerbaijan-Serbia Joint Intergovernmental Commission On Trade and Economic Cooperation, Report informs.

“We are ready to support negotiations between Serbian construction companies and the relevant authorities responsible for construction in the liberated territories and provide the necessary assistance in this regard. We look forward to more detailed discussions on all these aspects. We believe that institutional cooperation between the two countries in urban planning has serious potential for development,” Jahangirov said.

The committee representative also expressed hope for the active participation of Serbian colleagues in the 13th session of the World Urban Forum, which will be held in Baku in 2026.
