Roads in Lachin being restored at accelerated pace

State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads is rapidly implementing a project to restore roads in the city of Lachin, Report informs, citing the agency.

As part of the project, unsuitable road surfaces are dismantled, unsuitable soil is excavated in the necessary places, and a new road surface and road base are built. The work has already been completed in some parts of the city.

The reconstruction of intra-city roads in the city of Lachin, with a length of about 70 km, provides for the restoration of central streets and intra-block roads. The width of streets and internal roads varies from 4 to 11 meters.

Reconstruction work is planned to be completed soon.
