Minister: "Turkey doubled freightage via BTK last year

In 2021, Turkey increased the freightage via the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTQ) railway by 98%, said Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismayiloglu, Report informs.
"In addition, the international cargo transportations increased by 24% in the reporting period," he said.
The growth was 20% for European transportation and 15% for Iran.
