Direct flights will be carried out on the Baku-Riga-Baku route, from July 2, 2024, Latvian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Edgars Skuja told Report.
According to him, the flights will be carried out by Latvian AirBaltic Airline: "The first flight will be from Riga to Baku."
Although these flights are seasonal, this year they will continue until the end of November 2024, the ambassador added.
“AirBaltic will also offer flights during the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29) to be held in Azerbaijan. I think this is very convenient for people who plan to come here in November," Skuja said.
