Lachin Airport granted international status

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed an order granting international status to Lachin Airport.
According to Report, the order states that taking into account the agreed proposals of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Azerbaijan Airlines, the Lachin Airport, whose construction has been completed in the Lachin district and meets the relevant standards for carrying out international flights, should be granted international status.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs must send information to the relevant international organizations in this regard.
The order comes into force from the date of signing.
