Iran, Azerbaijan to mull upgrading road border terminal

The Iranian Council for Organizing Entry and Exit Destinations recently approved the demarcation of the bridges and upgrading the road border terminal in the vicinity of the newly-constructed Aghband Bridge, Director General of the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development Amin Tarfa said at the meeting of the Council, Report informs via Tasnim.

Under the agreement inked between Iran and the Republic of Azerbaijan, it was decided that a new border bridge will be constructed between Iran and Azerbaijan, he said.

“We are after holding a joint meeting with the Azerbaijani side on the customs and transport issues at this border in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs,” Amin Tarfa added.
