Investment in capital of Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan down

Approximately 42.35 million manats ($24.9 million) were allocated to the fixed capital from all financial sources for the development of the economy and social spheres in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of Azerbaijan in the first five months of 2024, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee of the autonomous republic.
Compared to the corresponding period of 2023, this shows a decline of 30.3 percent.
In January-May 2024, 32.65 million manats (about $19.21 million) or 77.1% of the capital investment was allocated to construction and installation work, which is 24.4 percent less than in the corresponding period of 2023.
