FM: New route to create connecting artery to increase Eurasia’s transit potential

The new route will create a new connecting artery to increase the transport and transit potential of Eurasia, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at the first ministerial meeting of the 3+3 regional consultative format in Tehran, Report informs.

In his speech, the foreign minister emphasized the special importance of creating transport links between the East Zangazur economic region of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic through the territory of Iran, and noted that the speedy completion of infrastructure projects and the commissioning of this route will serve mutually beneficial cooperation between these two countries in the region.
