FlyDubai provokes passengers by demonstrating Armenian films

FlyDubai shows Armenian movie 'Spitak' on its Baku-Dubai-Baku flights, Report informs, citing a passenger flying from Dubai to Baku.

The passenger expressed regret over facing such a case, given the ongoing Nagorno Karabakh conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and said that such a situation is unacceptable.

"It seems that FlyDubai does not consider the interests of our country. Armenia has kept 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands under occupation for nearly thirty years, conducting its aggressive policy. Companies carrying out flights to Azerbaijan, including FlyDubai, should be attentive to such issues. Even if Fly Dubai operates flies to Armenia, such incidents may cause an uproar and lead to citizens' refusal to use the company's services."

FlyDubai's Public Relations Specialist Houda Al Kaissi told Report that FlyDubai's entertainment system has contents in different languages with a length of more than 1,000 hours, and these contents are shown during flights: "There is no personal approach depending on the countries."

More than 1 million people were forced to flee their homes as a result of the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. 20,000 people were killed during the military operations, 50,000 became disabled. Nearly 4,000 Azerbaijanis went missing, of which 67 were children, 265 women, and 326 aged people. There is no information about the fate of these people. More than 2,000 Azerbaijani were taken captive.
