Envoy hopes for expansion of Azerbaijan-Japan co-op in construction sector

Japanese Ambassador to Azerbaijan Junichi Wada has expressed hope for expanding cooperation between the two countries in the construction sector, Report informs.

The diplomat was speaking at the conference “Architectural Heritage: Current and Future Trends” held by the Public Union “Azerbaijan Association of Building Materials Manufacturers” on the occasion of World Architecture Day.

He noted that there is extensive cooperation between Azerbaijan and Japan in a number of areas.

“Earthquakes often occur in Japan, so modern technologies are used in the field of construction. Today the Japanese experience is presented here. I hope that as a result of the event, cooperation between companies will be established and business relations will develop. We support this cooperation,” the ambassador said.

Representatives of construction companies from two countries are taking part in the conference.
