Cavusoglu: Ankara stands for more active use of BTK railway

Turkiye is in favor of more active use of the Middle Corridor, an important link of which is the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a joint press conference with his Georgian counterpart Ilia Darchiashvili on July 28 in Ankara, Report informs referring to Anadolu Agency.
He said that against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine, the importance of this corridor has increased.
“This is important not only for the countries of the region, but also for international trade and logistics,” Cavusoglu stressed.
