Cargo hubs to be established in Zangilan, Fizuli

A logistics company has applied to the Economic Zones Development Agency under the Economy Ministry of Azerbaijan to become a resident of the Araz Valley Economic Zone, Elshad Nuriyev, the head of the agency, told Report.

According to him, the company has purchased about 50 trucks and is creating the infrastructure to start operations after the opening of the Zangazur corridor.

“In addition, local offices of FedEX, UPS, ASE Express and American Express have established a company called Karabakh Logistics. The main goal is to create customs warehouses in the Araz Valley Economic Zone, form hubs at Zangilan and Fizuli international airports, and carry out international cargo transportation,” Nuriyev said.
