Bus drivers in Baku will be taken under special control

Baku. 1 October. REPORT.AZ/ Baku proposed the introduction of a special GPS system to ensure safety of public transport, improve the culture of driving and drivers' responsibility.
Report was told by the Head of the Public Relations at Intelligent Transport Management Center (TSIUT), Shafa Mehmangyzy.
According to her, GPS provides control over important issues such as determining the location of the bus, the speed of the bus, running a red and green lights, opening the door while driving, etc.
"Now we are working on this proposal. The system will allow to control drivers during the day, so that by the end of the month we will be able to determine which of them need to be replaced", said S. Mehmangyzy.
