Belarus launches new high-speed train project on Russia-Azerbaijan route

The new high-speed train project on the Belarus-Russia-Azerbaijan route has been launched, said Petr Dulub, the first deputy head of Belarusian Railways, Report informs.
Dulub noted that there are routes to Iran and India within the North-South international transport corridor framework.
Petr Dulub emphasized the priority of Belarusian Railways work on alternative transport and logistics chains for the delivery of foreign trade goods. He noted that the volume of shipments to Asian countries is increasing, and shipments to distant countries are also being carried out. Belarusian Railways actively works with Russia and uses the latter’s port facilities.
