Baku Metro: Two new trains to be put into use in early 2023

The last 2 trains (10 wagons) purchased from the Metrovagonmash enterprise, which is a part of Transmashholding CJSC of Russia, are expected to be put into operation in early 2023, Deputy Chairman of the Baku Metro CJSC, Hidayat Mammadov, told Report.

According to him, it is expected to be put into use on the line after installation and testing: “20 wagons and 4 trains have been purchased in the last two months.”
