Baku hosting opening ceremony of EaPEC 2022

Today, the opening ceremony of the 5th Eastern Partnership E-infrastructures Conference (EaPEC 2022) is being held in Baku, Report informs.

High-ranking officials, heads of research institutes of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), scientists and specialists representing about 50 countries, international organizations, and prestigious foreign companies are taking part in the event.

The conference was organized within the framework of the EaPConnect (EU4Digital: Connecting Research and Education Communities) project involving the countries of the Eastern Partnership, which was initiated and coordinated by the GEANT Association. The event's main goal is to expand cooperation between Eastern Partnership countries and accelerate the integration of these countries into the European community.
