Azerbaijan, Türkiye mull ways to combat water scarcity

Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Water Resources Agency Zaur Mikayilov has held a meeting with the Turkish delegation led by Turkish Minister of Agriculture and Forestry Ibrahim Yumakli, Report informs referring to the agency.
The parties discussed ways to combat water shortages.
At the meeting, issues of raising awareness in the field of efficient use of water, exchange of experience between countries and other issues were also discussed.
A mutual agreement was reached on further expansion of bilateral ties in this direction.
