Azerbaijan to introduce new waste collection system in Shusha

Underground containers will be installed in Shusha for waste collection for the first time in Azerbaijan, President of the Təmiz Şəhər LLC (Clean City) Etibar Abbasov said.

Report quotes him as saying the company is engaged in managing wastes in Shusha.

"It includes the waste collection, transportation, and disposal in Shusha, particularly the installation of underground waste containers. This will be the first such system in Azerbaijan. Moreover, the construction of a sanitary polygon is planned. The construction of a small waste-processing plant is also not ruled out."
