Azerbaijan Railways boosts int’l cargo transportation by nearly 5%

In the first half of 2025, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) transported over 8.442 million tons of cargo, marking a decrease of 874,500 tons or 9.4% year-on-year, Report informs, citing ADY.
During this period, ADY’s international cargo rose by 4.6% to over 3.861 million tons, while transit freight fell 16.9% to 3.267 million tons and domestic cargo dropped 22.4% to around 1.314 million tons.
