Azerbaijan, Iran determine working regime of Araz reservoir  

The working regime of the Araz reservoir and the distribution of water between Azerbaijan and Iran have been determined, relevant distribution tables for the joint use of water and energy resources in the Araz River have been prepared, and a protocol has been signed, Report informs, citing Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management OJSC.

These issues were discussed at the 51st meeting of the Azerbaijan-Iran Joint Commission for the Use of Water and Energy Resources of the Araz River held in Tabriz, Iran.

The draft protocol of the 52nd meeting of the Azerbaijan-Iran Joint Commission will be discussed in Baku next year.
