Azerbaijan continues to improve Electronic Water Management Information System

Azerbaijan is making significant strides in modernizing its water management practices through the enhancement of the Electronic Water Management Information System, Rafig Verdiyev, an official of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, said at the event titled "The Role of Water Management Systems in Climate-Resilient Agriculture: COP29 Roundtable Discussions," Report informs.
According to Verdiyev, the water balance system has already been delivered. "We want to keep records of the actual state of water resources," he stated. "We have initially implemented the program in the liberated territories. It is now possible to assess the situation at any time based on the data from automatic stations on almost all rivers."
