President Ilham Aliyev orders approval of cooperation plan with China under Belt and Road Initiative

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has signed an order approving the "Cooperation Plan on Joint Promotion of the Belt and Road Initiative between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the People's Republic of China," Report informs via AZERTAC.

Following the plan’s entry into force, the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan has been tasked with ensuring the implementation of its provisions.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been instructed to notify the Government of the People's Republic of China that the necessary domestic procedures for the plan’s activation have been completed.
