Azerbaijan and Iran may expand operation scope of South Cargo Terminal

Azerbaijan and Iran discussed the expansion of the operation scope of South Cargo Terminal LLC, owned by Azerbaijan Railways (ADY), Report informs.
According to ADY, Chairman Rovshan Rustamov visited Iran and held a meeting with Jabbar Ali Zakeri Sardrudi, the head of the Iranian railway administration.
The meeting discussed the main stages and implementation of the development phases of the Astara terminal under the South Cargo Terminal located in Iran, completion of terminal works by the end of 2025, as well as joint steps to expand the operation scope of the subsidiary company, and the construction of the railway bridge over the Araz River.
