ASCO’s vessel to deliver equipment from Türkiye for new TPP in Mingachevir

General cargo vessel Uzeyir Hajibeyli of sea transportation fleet of Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) CJSC, will deliver necessary equipment from Türkiye to Azerbaijan for new power plant built upon the order of Azerenergy OJSC on the Azerbaijan Thermoelectric Power Station territory in Mingachevir, Report informs.

According to order, transformer and auxiliary equipment with total weight of 1,303,765 tons were loaded onto the vessel in the port of Haydarpasa in Türkiye. The vessel is already on its way.

Gas turbines and generators manufactured by Italian company Ansaldo Energia for mentioned project were delivered to Azerbaijan last year by ASCO vessel.
