ASCO increases vehicle transport by 10% in January-August

Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) transported 28,178 vehicles by ferries in January-August this year, Report informs, citing the company.

The figure is 10% higher than in the same period last year.

Vehicle transportation also increased in terms of cargo volume. During the eight months, ASCO ferries transported 728,536 tons of vehicles, up 13% year-on-year.

Transit vehicle transportation by ferries reached 678,760 tons during the reporting period, exceeding last year's figure by 9%.
