Anar Najafli: Construction of 2 highways being completed in Azerbaijan’s Gubadli

The construction of the Gubadli-Eyvazli and Gubadli-Mahmudlu-Yazduzu highways in Azerbaijan’s Gubadli district is planned to be completed by the end of this year or the beginning of next year, Anar Najafli, spokesperson for the State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads, told Report.
He noted that the implementation of large-scale road infrastructure projects continues in the Gubadli district. “The largest and first of them is the project of the four-lane Khudaferin-Gubadli-Lachin highway with a length of 70.4 kilometers. The construction of this highway is planned to be completed in the coming years,” Najafli said.
Najafli noted that the construction of the Gubadli-Eyvazli and Gubadli-Makhmudli-Yazduzu roads is nearing completion. The total length of these highways is 121.6 kilometers, he said.
The spokesperson emphasized that within the framework of the First State Program for the “Great Return,” the state agency is implementing a total of 21 highway construction projects. “The total length of roads will be more than 2,300 kilometers. To date, 5 roads have been built, the length of which is 186.3 km,” he added.
