Ambassador: Baku has unique location to turn into hub

Baku. 20 November. REPORT.AZ/ "Baku has a unique location to turn into a hub between North-South and West-East transport corridors".
Report informs, Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Kestutis Jankauskas, told reporters.
According to him, the international organization represented by him has always promoted expansion of ties and that commissioning of Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway is its bright example.
"This railroad will ensure faster transportation of both cargoes and passengers from Asia to Europe. Azerbaijan, including the capital Baku, has a unique location in the center of logistics processes. Both sea and railroads through the city stimulate trade, improve strategic relations, open new jobs for people", the diplomat said.
