ADY, OSCE discuss co-op prospects in transport and logistics

Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) have engaged in discussions on cooperation opportunities in the transport and logistics sector, Report informs, referring to the ADY.
The discussions were held during a meeting between the Chairman of the ADY, Rovshan Rustamov, and OSCE Secretary General, Feridun Sinirlioglu.
The OSCE delegation was provided with detailed information about Azerbaijan's transport and logistics potential within the framework of the Promotion of Green Ports and Connectivity in the Caspian Sea Region project initiated by Azerbaijan.
It was noted that the merger of Baku Port with ADY as part of the reforms carried out to strengthen Azerbaijan's transit potential will not only expand the country's transit capabilities but also contribute to more efficient organization of cargo transportation through international corridors.
The parties stated that jointly implemented projects and initiatives will serve to strengthen Azerbaijan's position as a transport hub and overall give impetus to the sustainable development of the region.
