Adrian Griffiths: Roads for electric buses, bicycles to be built in Jabrayil, Shusha

Separate roads for electric buses and bicycles will be built in the Azerbaijani cities of Jabrayil and Shusha, an architect and urban design specialist Adrian Griffiths said at the 2nd National Urban Forum “The Importance of Urban Mobility in Managing Sustainable Urban Development,” which was held in Baku within the Urban Planning Week 2023, Report informs.

“I am involved in the construction of road infrastructure in Jabrayil and Shusha. Both cities have created conditions for the movement of electric buses and bicycles. When creating a bicycle path, it is important to ensure parking and safety. One of the main things we pay attention to is that the bike paths are in green, scenic areas. Green, sustainable transport infrastructure must be safe and clean for people,” said Griffiths.
