Production of construction materials in Azerbaijan rises by 47%

The production of construction materials in Azerbaijan in January-July this year amounted to 446.3 million manats, up 46.7% from the previous year, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.

Production of processed marble, travertine, alabaster, and their products increased by 72.2%, production of building blocks and bricks from cement, artificial stone or concrete by 72.1%, production of ready-mixed concrete mix for wicker by 40.6%, production gypsum by 38.3 %, construction lime production by 19.9%, construction brick production by 13.7%, and cement production by 4.3%, while asphalt production dropped by 33.2%.
