Number of residents of industrial parks in Azerbaijan’s Aghdam, Jabrayil to grow

The Agency for the Development of Economic Zones under the Economy Ministry is considering about 20 projects submitted by entrepreneurs wishing to become residents in the Aghdam Industrial Park and the Araz Valley Economic Zone in the Jabrayil district, Report informs.

These projects are related to the production of ventilation systems, fire-fighting equipment and metal products, the production of concrete, the maintenance of heavy equipment, the production of orthopedic mattresses, upholstered furniture (sofas and armchairs), sewerage and water pipes.

The Aghdam Industrial Park was created by the decree of President Ilham Aliyev dated May 28, 2021 on an area of ​​190 hectares. It is planned to register more than 30 residents in the park and invest more than 100 million manats.

The industrial park “Araz Valley Economic Zone” was created by decree of the head of state on October 4, 2021 on an area of ​​200 hectares.
